General Information
Hypalon rubber sheeting has excellent resistance to ozone, weather, acids, heat and abrasion, and properly compounded products show excellent weathering resistance. High tensile strength is characteristic of hypalon vulcanizate. Hypalon rubber also has fair resistance to petroleum based fluids.
Compounds can be formulated for excellent abrasion resistant and for brittle temperatures for -30°C to +180°C.Its general Shore Hardness is 65° ± 5°. Hypalon vulcanizates show excellent resistant to corrosive chemicals. They have excellent electrical properties. They can also be compounded for good flame resistance.
